• Become your own best cheerleader: Be enthusiastic about your product or service. Your clients will be able to tell if you truly believe in what you’re doing.
• Be honest and upfront: Offer results when you can but don’t be afraid to tell clients that you’re not sure about something. Follow up with research and a clear response as soon as you can.
• Follow up to ensure a satisfied client: A follow-up phone call or e-mail will keep you in touch.
• Listen to your clients: Listening is more than hearing –
it’s understanding and reacting.
• Make a good first impression: Everyone you meet is a potential client or connection to a client. Make every interaction a positive one.
• Be solution oriented: Offer solid advice and quality services.
• Be interested in your client’s business and life: Try to get to know your clients. Knowing about and being interested will enhance your ongoing relationship.
• Always exceed your customer’s expectations: Your customers will return, again and again, if they trust you and know you do good work.
