Here in Markham, and among our Board of Trade membership, we have members who can help you leverage golf in your business building mix.
Want to learn the game? For those who want to learn the game, several members of the Board of Trade offer qualified and experienced instruction such as Oasis Golf Academy, Markham Green, Sleepy Hollow, Angus Glen and more.
Looking for a private club experience? We are pleased to have York Downs, Whitevale and Meadowbrook among our members. These are among the finest private golf facilities in Ontario, and they’re right here in our own backyard.
Many people like the flexibility of public golf facilities. Once again, among our members you will find Angus Glen, Markham Green, Bushwood, Cresthaven, Silver Lakes and others. Indeed, there’s a course for every level and at every price point.
Looking for fashion and accessories? If you don’t play well, you can at least look the part! Many of our golf club members sell apparel for great fashion, or there’s Hartman McKay, Ian Crebbin Golf, Greenfields, Pro Golf Discount and more. Many of these outlets carry the great “On Tour” label supplied by Markham’s own Trimark Sports.

On May 15, we are pleased to present “The Corporate Celebrity Challenge”, at Eagle’s Nest Golf Club, in support of United Way of York Region. This event is limited to 25 threesomes who will play golf with a celebrity from the world of regional/local government. Sponsored by AllState and Motorola, the “Corporate Challenge” is a great opportunity for networking and getting to know your local political leaders.
Our “Networkers Scramble” will be held at the Bushwood Golf Club, on June 14. This breakfast/lunch event is designed to be very cost effective. It will be a true “network scramble”. Teams will be assigned by a blind draw by the Board of Trade staff. Every team will have a “regular” golfer on it, the rest – well, you’ll have to take your chances! The focus is on networking and fun.
July 26 is the date of our “Corporate Classic” at the beautiful, private, Meadowbrook Golf Club. The day is designed for client entertaining and corporate mingling. We will offer great “hole-in-one” and beat the pro contests, entertainment, our unique “longest marshmallow” contest, product sampling and other promotional opportunities.
We are also bringing the “green boardroom” to your boardroom through two special “breakfast and golf” days at Angus Glen Golf Club. Members of the Markham Board of Trade receive a special price from fellow member Angus Glen.
